This piece was installed on SoundsGood Auto, a shop that specializes in installing many types of electronics in a variety of different vehicles. The business was looking for a design that was hardworking and informative, but still visually interesting. Choosing how to describe SoundsGood was challenging, as they provide a wide range of products and services for a multitude of vehicles. The solution to this was to employ a strong sense of hierarchy by painting the types of vehicles they serve in bold, three dimensional type, while listing the services they provide and positioning them as smaller elements that counterbalance the more dominant type. A punchy yellow/orange palette was chosen to make the mural as eye-catching as possible, and to contrast the predominantly blue building it sits on.
