Kwantlen Polytechnic University was in the process of overhauling their design program created by Chip and Shannon Wilson. KPU sought to create one of the best design programs available - a school that would sculpt some of the city’s best creative talent.
Our agency built the brand on the importance of the design process in creating good work. Good design isn’t just found, magically, in the end result. Whether designing an interior space, a piece of clothing, custom packaging or a new product, good designers follow the design process. And that process is messy. It is full of failures and prototypes. This is where good design and excellent designers emerge. We redefined KPU’s design program as a safe place for creatives to explore, test, and iterate on the path to brilliant design.
My involvement on the Wilson School of Design included the design and production on several pieces such as the stationery set and promotional banners. I also assisted in the creation of the brand’s colour palette and the brand guidelines, as well as handled production of a large logo suite with over 400 files.
