&co is a newly developed shared workspace situated in downtown Vancouver’s Coal Harbour. They cater to well established professionals, promising the best possible environment to nurture growth. They offer a collaborative work environment, shared with similarly successful peers—as well as personalized private work areas and in-house wellness amenities such as fitness and yoga classes. The residents of &co expect a paramount experience in every way possible, and the brand needed to reflect that.
The name &co refers to the first-rate company tenants will be connecting with and growing alongside. The monogram logo represents the dynamism and adaptability of both the residents and the space. The colour palette is restrained and sophisticated, figuratively describing the tenants, and literally mirroring the palette of the surrounding city. The brand maintains this feel of refinement throughout executions, with thoughtful touches such as the monogram being embossed through the business card, the line-based patterns representing residents’ endeavours and interactions with each other, or the use of copper foil on a variety of designs.
I developed the majority of this brand, under the supervision of some very talented mentors. The name was the only element that had been decided upon before my involvement, everything else is my creation.
